Lincoln Bible Church(LBC) is a Biblical Expository Teaching and Preaching Church. We are committed to fervent praise and worship of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. We believe that God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit are One(Genesis 1:1-2, John 1:1-3, 14-18, John 10:25-30, John 17:1-8, and Matthew 28:19).We believe that Jesus Christ is Lord and Savior of the world. We believe that He died on the Cross of Calvary as the only begotten Son of God the Father for the sins of all mankind (Matthew 27:34-50 and John 3:16-18) and was raised on the third day by God the Father with all power in His hand in heaven and earth (Matthew 28:1-7 and Romans 10:9-10). His blood was shed for the remission of sins, and those who believe upon Him and confess Him as Lord and Savior shall be saved from eternal death and damnation (John 3:16-18 and Romans 10:9-10).

We believe that Water Baptism reflects obedience to the Lord Jesus Christ and that it symbolizes outwardly the believer’s inward decision to accept Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior(Matthew 28:19,Mark 16:16, John 3:5,16 and 36 and Acts 2:38). Furthermore, we believe that when baptism is performed in the name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit as detailed by the Lord Jesus Christ in Matthew 28:19, both water baptism and the baptism of the Holy Spirit occurs simultaneously as revealed in Acts 8:14-16. Otherwise, the additional and separate step, after water baptism, of laying on of hands is required to receive the Holy Spirit as revealed in Acts 8:17.

The individuals who abide in the Lord Jesus Christ are those whom He abides in as well. These individuals (Christians) are committed to keeping the commandments (obeying the Bible which is Holy Scripture) of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ as they bear the fruits and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit in service as His disciples/witnesses (John 15:1-11 Galatians 5:22-25, I Corinthians 12:3-18 and 13:13, and 2 Timothy 3:16-17). Also, as disciples/witnesses of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we believe that we are the salt of the earth and the light of world as those who Trust in and obey the Lord our God and His word (Matthew 5:13-14).

Additionally, we believe that our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ has commissioned all(disciples/witnesses) who have believed upon Him to make disciples of all nations and teach them all things that He has commanded us (Matthew 28:18-20).
